Geologic Hazard Reports for Residential and Commercial Properties

Determine geologic hazards for a property before you plan to purchase, develop, construct additions or remodel, change occupancy classification, or for peace of mind.

Geologic hazards that may impact Southern California include faults, landslides, liquefaction, expansive and collapsible soils, and slope instabilities. These hazards may significantly impact the value of a property and increase construction and design costs.

Identify which hazards may impact a property and the level of geotechnical study that may be required by a municipality for site development, upgrades or construction.

The report is prepared by a State of California Licensed Certified Engineering Geologist. Reports can typically be provided within 2 to 3 business days from the order date.

The Geologic Hazard report includes property location on a geologic map, fault map, seismic safety study map, description of underlying geologic units, hazard categories, faults and distances to closest active faults. Information as to the level of geotechnical study that may be required by a municipality for site development or construction permitting will also be provided.
